Something New Saturday 5/30 May 30, 2009

It is Saturday again. The new thing for this week is going to be money related, or more about my struggles with money. It is not so much that there is not enought of it (because if I am honest about it there is plenty) it is that I spend it badly. I have been know to blow throught almost $10000 in one weekend. It would sound like I have a gambling problem or something, but mostly I just buy stupid stuff that I will never really use to it full potential. This is a bad way to manage money I have come to find out. Well, I had fun at the time but not so much when it was time to pay bills or get food. My family has never gone hungry or have been evicted form our house, but there has been tons of stress about how I am going to juggle everything until the next payday. I have been working on saving some money and get it to not be paycheck to paycheck for me. It was working very well for awhile but then I slacked off and it slipped back to being a stressful deal for me. So now I am back at the whole savings thing, and man doses it suck some times. But I can do it, I did it before it is slow going. I will get it someday I will be able to pass on some tips to my son on how to make it work. I hope to give him a better understanding of how it all works so maybe he will not make all of the mistakes that I have made. He needs  to make his own.
